Any ZOOLANDER reviews yet?

I was just wondering if anyone has seen any online reviews for the ZOOLANDER disc... it's one of my fave flicks of last year and can't wait to get it, but so far, have seen no reviews...

As I understand it, Paramount doesn't send out review copies very early.

That's right. I think reviewers can only post a review about 10 days before release date.

That's correct. I think this sucker streets on 3/12, so tomorrow's the earliest to expect a review. I haven't even received my copy yet, however; dunno if others are in the same boat - I'm east coast, so I usually get things a little later than the west coast people - but don't be too surprised if you DON'T find any reviews tomorrow...

Saw this one in the movie theater and will not buy or rent again. Although I think Ben Stiller is one of the funniest current actors, this movie plan sucked!!! I laughed maybe once - same with my friend.

Sounds great...my local retailer had the disc out today...but their price is outrageous... can't wait to get this.

Another Z review from DVDFile

The author did not really care for the movie, but seemed to be impressed with its DVD CE treatment.

"Z" is right: this review is littered with factual and grammatical errors, as per the DVD File program. For instance, the disc does not contain an alternate opening title sequence, but rather an alternate *end* title sequence, explicitly labelled as such. (Considering it is filled with clips from the film, I wonder why an opening title sequence would take the trouble to spoil that which you're about to see.)

Furthermore, the menus exactly capture the tone of the film itself, and yet the File reviewer is delighted by the menus but hates Zoolander proper.

Daily-Reviews did it right. For posterity, here's our review - http://filmfreakcentral.net/dvdreviews/zoolander.htm
