If you liked the first one you will like the second i believe. I loved the first one, and the second one is better IMHO.

It's exactly like the first one, only this time they gave all of Chris Tucker's lines to Jackie Chan. Example: "Never touch a Chinese Man's Radio!" Ha ha ha. Should've been nominated for a screenplay Oscar...that was clever.

It's the same as the first, but less funier, because they use the same old jokes!!!!!

I thought the first was ok. I couldn't get through 20 minutes of the second. Absolutely horrible.

Shanghai Noon was much better (and real Jackie Chan movies much much much better)

This one was much better than the first.

Just imagine taking their roles and reversing them this time, so instead of Chan doing the wrong things, it's Tucker's turn. It's funnier that way to me, seeing Jackie Chan, the one trying to explain how things work where he is from.

I watched this movie just for Zhang Zi Yi. In fact, I didn't even watch the first RH until after I saw RH2 in the theatres. I wasn't disappointed as she looks foine, but they put way too much makeup on her. She doesn't get nearly enough screen time either.

I think that the first RH is a better movie, but RH2 is funnier. Many jokes are rehashes, but they're done in good context, which makes them funny or funnier. The cool thing is that Lee and Carter have a lot more chemistry in this movie, as opposed to the first one, where they just felt like they were bumbling along in their own path (eh, which I guess they mostly were). In RH2, they're more like established friends, so they have more interesting interaction.

RH2 is not a replacement for DM2 (not even close), but I didn't see RH2 for Jackie Chan anyways....
