This is going to be one of the Buy 2 Titles get them for $10 each at BestBuy this coming week. It was very popular when I worked at a certain video rental place, but I never got around to seeing it. What do you all think?

Both the film and the DVD are certainly diverting; I'd say you won't regret it too much, if at all, for $10. Here's our full review from July of 2000.

Consider getting this at Columbia House... might save you $20+ on your 3 DVDs over getting them at BB.

Check out the clubs forum. (I buy all my new DVDs at less than $9.30 each, so I don't even check BB anymore. Their currect deal might be comparable, ... I have no idea.)

Boiler Room is a very good film. However, it's one of those that really has almost zero replay value. But for $10 you might want to give it a shot....

Good disc to get for $10 IMO. It's got some great features as well (commentary, deleted scenes, etc...)

The only specific thing I remember from when I saw it in the theatre was

"I want you to back up the entire contents of your hard drive to this floppy"

I thought the film was a cool plot with some good acting. One problem is the ending but there is an alternate ending on the dvd so it is definately worth the money. I think it does have some replay value IMO because you can't really absorb it all in one sitting/

to each their own i guess, cause i've watched this disc at least 5 times since i bought it, and the movie is still great... very entertaining, highly quotable...and Vin Diesel kicks ass.

This movie gets a 6 out of 10 in my book. It was entertaining to watch the first time. I'd never watch it again though.
