I hadn't seen this film before and was put off by some negative reviews of the film and also the dvd. I'm glad I got it,though - when DDD showed it for 18 bucks I thought I'd add it to my Fellini group. The transfer is actually veryclean - I saw no artifacts or hint of discoloration which others have mentioned. The film itself I found very funny. There is a nice extra too, a making-of doc (I think it was about a half-hour long). I'd recommend this one.

I think bdots was fairly accurate. Very good anamorphic transfer, especially compared to other New Yorker DVDs, and nice documentary on the making of the film. I bought the Disc and I'm glad I did. Very surreal & Felliniesque!

cheers, Tony Block
