...not of the DVD, but plenty reviews of the movie - every one of them bad to scathing, e.g. (Possible spoilers!) http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/articl...4/DD152544.DTL ...

I thought this was a really engrossing thriller in the old fashioned sort of way. It isn't
all action, but builds-up slowly and atmospherically. The car sequence at the end was
clever and the performances by a quality cast were all good.
The DVD is first rate. The sound and picture are fantastic! Very sharp and defined.
There is fullscreen and anamorphic widescreen version's on the dual sided disc. The
menus are good and the supplements are excellent. There is a really entertaining and
informative audio commentary by the writer and director, a deleted scene
with/without commentary, the films trailer in anamorphic widescreen, a trailer for 'I
Know What You Did Last Summer', and filmographies and interviews with Leelee
Sobieski, Diane Lane, Stellan Skarsgard, Bruce Dern, Trevor Morgan, the director and
the producer. The filmographies themselves are more like 'film highlights' than
complete listings.
Although the film wasn't a big hit (grossing $18 million) it was overlooked as it was
released in the same week as the September 11th terrorist attacks. There was very
little promotion for it which was a shame, as it deserved better.
A recommended film on an excellent DVD!

I agree with everything "Martin Jeeves" said in his review.
It is a real shame that this movie was over looked. My wife and I were glued to the TV when the movie was on.
Leelee Sobieski was casted perfectly for this roll. I have become a big fan of her acting ability. The DVD I will rent next will be "Joy Ride", which also stars Leelee Sobieske. (And she really does look like a young Helen Hunt, and she evens acts like her)
The writers and director did a great job in giving Leelee Sobieski character a brain and she was not afriad to use it. It was a pleasant surprise to see a young lady be used to show off her brain and not just her body.
The Video was very good. No pixelation or other flaws showed, so I was never distracted from the movie.
The Sound was OK, but the movie really did not call for a 5 Star sound track.
This is one of the few DVDs my wife did not want to return until she watches it again(no late fees as long as it is returned by noon Monday).
The only thing strange about the DVD was some the commentary. One of the guys(the produce or writer) speaking on the commentary said some inappropriate things about a 16 year old Leelee Sobieski. Like during her swimming scene. It would have been OK if she was over 18, but she is 16 and should be treated as a 16 year old. I'm probably being too picky, but my wife thought the same thing

The comment must have been about her age in the movie.

THE GLASS HOUSE - Quality flick, excellent DVD
Wow! This was a great flick. A quality thriller with a good cast (Leelee Sobieski, Diane Lane...) with twists abound. Exvcellent DVD as well. Good picture and sound, and good supplements. Recommended!

I have been wanting to pick this up and have been too busy lately.....I really liked Leelee Sobieski in Here on Earth. I also have been looking at another one of her films coming out this month.....Joy Ride. Looks like an updated version of Duel which was released in the early 70's by Spielberg. Starred Dennis Weaver.....
BTW...Duel is being released in May.

Yeah...Leelee is tops! And so's Diane Lane (phwwooooar!!)
"Joy Ride" is a great film. Very creepy and tension filled. "The Glass House" is just as good though IMHO. Both good thrillers, and both great DVD's.
