Review Wanted: Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure / Bogus Journey
Dudes! It would certainly be excellent if someone were to post a review of these two most triumphant, non-heinous DVDs!

Seeing these films on dvd for the first time brought a lot of memories back to when I first saw them probably when I was 11 or so. For some reason, they just weren't as funny this time around, but still enjoyable.
I did like the $9.99 price on em though.

I was surprised at just how much I liked the movies after all these years. Overall, these are some nice (if bare-bones) discs. My lower-end setup didn't show as dramatic a quality drop between the first and second movie as reported in the DVDFile review, so YMMV.
The one thing that did end up annoying me is that the featurette on the Bogus Journey disc is so short. It was lightweight, to be sure, but still entertaining. The actors seemed to be enjoying themselves.
Geez. Now I'm all mad that I don't have a telephone booth that can travel back in time and bring Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter circa 1988 forward in time to record some commentary tracks.

Well, I watched my copy of Excellent Adventure & was pleased. The picture is as good as can be expected. The soundtrack was quite weak. No true extras but I was glad to have the trailer.
I was most excited to finally watch this in widescreen. I have not seen it in its original aspect ratio since I saw it in the theater when it first came out!
I never liked Bogus Journey & will not be getting it.
