This was my worst movie of 2000. I cannot communicate how awful it is.

The movie is truly horrific. Oscar pandering gone horribly awry.

hmm

It is not an uplifting kind of film like they make it sound, don't want to ruin much of it..director's did that themselves, if you are looking for a good movie with some extras worth watching, skip over pay it forward.

I agree. My friend and I actually came out of the theater laughing at how horribly bad this film was....and not in an entertaining "bad" way either.

This was one of the worst movies that i have ever seen. It was so badly overacted, I wanted to scream out in the theatre. Don't waste your money on this piece of trash.

Horrendously bad. Along with Patch Adams, Pay It Forward stands as the ultimate example of a horrid movie whose sole goal is to move you to tears. Stay as far away from this piece of crap as you possibly can.

This movie SUCKED!

Well, it was a "good" film, but if you're looking for an inspirational, happy, "live is good, people are good" movie, you better look elsewhere! You'll probably want to slit your wrists after this one!

I have to admit that this movie is hard to follow. It goes back and forth in time that's kind of distracting. But, if you try hard enough you can.

I think this is one of the more "real" movies made in a while. It's refreshing to see a white family on the brink of homelessness. Kevin Spacey is his usual self in this one. Great acting on his part. If you don't like Helen Hunt, then I guess don't bother. Jay Mohr is surprisingly good in this one.

It's a very unusual love story. I just think the end was a little contrived. Maybe the whole tried to do too much.

I hear Kevin Spacey himself did not really like it. But his acting was impeccable in this movie and maybe the best of his career.

This movie was ok, I would not invest in the movie though. Rent it and forget it.
