For me, the only really scarey horror movies are the old ones, the new ones are just gore and makeup and it gets old fast
Anyhow, I saw The Omen when I was like 4, needless to say I don't remember it, just that it scared the hell outta me. Same thing was with the exorcist, and I got the newer edition of that and it's one of my favorite dvds.
So what's the omen like? What I want to know most of all is how good the audio and video quality is since that's a big thing for me.. does it seem almost like a modern movie set in the 70's, like the exorcist is? Is it all restored, or is it grainy, dirty and old looking?
And well, how would you compare the movie itself it to the exorcist? Is it a DVD worth getting or should I wait for some kind of super special classic edition?
