I have the Criterion version of the above, and while the move quality is great, I really can't justify the $$$ I spent on it, just to see supplements like "tractor safety", "history of Kenya" and "how to be happy in school," among hearing in 4 different formats (liner notes, commentary, behind the scenes, and text) that there was no hidden meaning to the film and they were just having fun.
I am aware that Image released this film with both the original and director's cut, like Criterion, and i would like to sell my criterion version and "upgrade" (I know people will not understand this) to Image, and use the money to buy other films.
Can somebody please compare the Image to the Criterion release of this movie? JUST the movie - nothing else, please!!
