i've heard mixed reviews on this movie. I was initially not going to try and watch this movie but since dvdtalk is so gung-ho about this movie, i guess i should give it a second chance. has anyone actually seen it?

The review is specifically about the R3 one, but it gives you an idea of what the movie is about/like. Personally I haven't seen it yet myself, but I did just preorder it

think of it as a hong kong type of LEON, except with 2 stories. truly inventive camera work from one of the action masters: Tsui Hark. visually, i think the movie is a stand out, he even uses bullet-time effects how they were meant to be used, to be a part of the story telling and not just flashy fx.. plot wise, it's not real strong, but it's easy to follow.
