The film itself is a good mindless action film, with great stunts and some good one liners. The story is weak, but the effects and the action help to make up for it. I'm a Schwarzenegger fan of sorts, but I wouldn't say Eraser is a film I would watch more than 2 to 3 times(I passed on owning this one, and I buy almost everything). The dvd transfer is excellent, you will have no complaints about the quality(it has both the fullscreen and widescreen anamorphic). The sound is as good as 5.1 gets, I rememeber thinking how well the music score came through, and the subwoofer was well used. Extra's-they are missing(just trailers and production notes).
