Is it a purchase or just a rental? Thanks for posting.

I bought it last night and I liked it. I'm sure I'll watch it again, but I'd suggest renting it first just to be sure.

It's sort of an all ages kind of movie, the first half is a funny story about old men making their way to space, the second half is sort of like armageddon with old people

it has some nice extras too, a lot of behind the scenes stuff, interviews, etc.. and the extended jay leno thing was funny

I'd rent it. The DVD has decent features, but no commentary, which kind of diminishes replay value. I think a commentary with the cast could have been really funny. I enjoyed this a lot when I saw it, and was willing to overlook the fact that Tommy Lee Jones is a bit too young to belong with the other guys, but I think the last shot was in somewhat poor taste and kind of tainted it for me. Just my opinion.

I liked the movie, I bought it, and it was funny like they said in the begining but turned out to be more serious then I thought. I liked the ending scene though.

The 2 extras are cool, the comm. would have been halarious!

I bought this one sight unseen expecting a really good film. I did enjoy it, but not as much as I thought I would. The first half was funny, and the second half had some good thrills but I was disappointed in both areas.

I rented it out tonight. Good film but not one I will be watching again anytime soon ( And the extras aren't up to much either ).

The effects towards the end took me by surprise. I was expecting some low budget pic but they must have payed ILM a fortune for these. Quite Impressive.
