I am about to purchase a Sony DVD Player to go along with my receiver. I currently have a Pioneer VSX-D503S with Dolby Surround Pro Logic and do not plan to upgrade this at this time. Should I purchase the S-360 or the S-560 version ? Any and all help is appreciated.

360 will be fine. Almost all new reeivers have the decoder built in them.

If your receiver is not "Dolby Digital-ready" (it does not have 6-channel inputs), you cannot benefit from the decoders built into the 560. I am pretty sure your receiver does not. You should go with the 360 and put the money you saved towards a newer receiver in the near future.
