How much is the 5-6 channel audio home theater set-up?
I'm just asking because I have all these movies with 5-6/DTS channel sound, and I'm considering getting the set-up.. Is it expensive? Any info. is appreciated!

Read up on al the posts. There are quite a few strings about prices if you look. I just got the Kenwood htb-503 at sears for 399$. That's 100 watts per channel and a 100 watt sub, with all the speakers and a Dolby Digital/DTS decoding reciever. Sounds great, but I don't get my dvd player until wednesday (a sony dvp-s360 which I paid 135$ at sears using their price match and a 50 rebate) so I can't speak for the 5.1 surround sound--but most people say it is great for the money.
Best buy has a Yamaha HTIB (Home theater in a box) right now for the same price. I haven't heard it, but if you are not an audiophile I am sure it will be fine.

TheCLovur, it looks like you're new to the boards... welcome! As m1 stated, there are plenty of threads on this topic... you can use DVDTalk's search feature to find them. Look in the top right area of the page, and you'll see an icon of a globe with a magnifying glass on it, with the word "search" next to it... click on that, and you'll be able to search to your heart's content.
One bit of advice from an HT/home audio newbie... there are a lot of "hidden costs" associated with buying a 5.1/6.1/whatever audio system, like buying cables, speaker stands, a surge protector, etc.
A quick money-saving tip: Don't drop $40+ on a digital optical cable to link your DVD player & receiver... instead, make sure your player & receiver have "digital coaxial" ins and outs, just use a regular RCA video cable to connect the two through your coaxial connections, and you'll get the same great sound. You may know this, but I had no idea until just a few days ago... I had always heard that optical was the way to go.
Happy hunting!
