Does anyone have this beauty? Circuit City has it for the list price $3500, but what a wonderful machine! My wife doesn't care for projection sets,so this is the best that I've found so far. Anyone know of any reviews? I've seen the little blurb in the latest(last?) issue of Total Movie.

I dont own this set but have previewed in my local A/V store and it is absolutely stunning. Picture is sharp, vibrant and colors were dead on. The set has a very shallow footprint as well. I recommend taking a look for yourself. I think there may also be a 39" version coming later this year so you may want to take a look at that as well. I just wish I could scrape up enough to buy one of these myself right now, but I will just have to wait a few months.

Having seen them both, I would say they are very very similar with a slight edge going to the Phillips. The Phillips seemed a bit sharper with richer colors. This is all based based on the stores I have demoed them at however. If you get either set ISF calibrated I am sure you will have an unbelievable picture on either one.

Does Panasonic make a 16:9 television in their Tau line?
I thought they were all 4:3.
