I'm looking at buying a SONY home theater in a box.
Does anyone else have one of these or know someone that does? I know it's not the most powerful or best-sounding system out there, but for me -- and for now -- its the best.

Well, the reason I possibly care is because if there are better systems in the same price range, I'd rather get the one of those.

Yup. That makes sense. I guess what you were saying in your first post is that you're wondering if the Sony is the best system for you. You made it seem like the decision had already been made.

How much $ is the Sony HTB?

It costs $500. It's the full deal -- and it seems to sound just as good as ones that are more expensive.

I've just heard other people complain about their HTB's, and was curious if I'm judging this book by its cover too.
