I just got a new Toshiba 3109 and to my suprise, it does not my play my cdr burned music mixes.

Have any of you had any success' or failures?

I am also wondering about vcd compatibility.

Any help would be apreciated.

the 3109 will not play cdr, cdrw, or vcd discs. it will only play cds and dvds.

Oh. I thought this unit played silver bottom ("rael") vcd discs.
