I was wondering if this is a good reciever, I am looking to replace a Philips reciever that I bought 10 years ago with my allowance. If this isn't good what would be considered a good entry level reciever?
Thanks for the help,
jason

I have the 2080 and I've had nothing but good luck with it. It quit producing sound once, but I just replaced a fuse for like $1.
However, tons of people have had problems with this receiver at http://www.audioreview.com, so I can't suggest it. I'm guessing many people had the fuse problem but didn't know how to fix it.
If I were you I'd go with a Yamaha HTR5240 as an entry level Dolby Digital system. It'll probably do better with music than the Kenwood and I'm guessing it is more dependable.
