Friend of mine bought a Sharp 32" widescreen TV. He's only had the TV for 3 months, and when I was at his house a few days ago, he asked me to set his contrast brightness color levels for him.
Alas - the picture was a saturated blue. Bit like a nice white shirt after being washed with a pair of new levis. I mean, there wasn't any black in the picture - it was blue-blue-blue.
Anyone know what is wrong?

The blue level is not somthing that can be accessed through the remote control. Perhaps the engineers menu, I thought. Not that I'd go fiddling around in there - even if I knew how to. The problem is that the problem wasn't - you know, it kinda went blue overnight.
Anyway - his set is still under guarantee.
