I HAVE NO CLUE WHAT PROGRESSIVE SCAN IS. CAN SOMEONE ANSWER THIS QUESTION FOR ME AND TRY TO GIVE AN EXAMPLE.

Just so you know a progressive scan player is only usefull if you have, obviously, progressive inputs on your TV.
