I'm looking to buy 3 Monster speaker cables at Amazon and need a little help. My receiver is the Pioneer Elite VSX-24TX (DTS/DD) and the 3 speakers in need of cables are (2)JBL ND310's and the JBL S-Center. I was thinking about these -

Monster Cable Z1 MT-10/10 Z1 Affordable Audiophile Speaker Cable 10 ft. pair (M Bananas)
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00003CWGR

Monster Cable XP1C HT-5 Monster XP Speaker Cable with Color-Coded Connectors Center channel 5 ft. AGP
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00003CWG8

Is this overkill? Not enough? I'm paying for this with an MCI gift certificate, so I don't mind overpaying a bit. Thanks to anyone who can help.

You might want to look at these instead. They're nicer cables for the same $.

If you want banana terminations, you'll need these, too.

I'm using these cables for my mains and have been absolutely thrilled with them.

Added: Oh, you're wanting to use a GC. Personally, I'd go with the best cable you can afford, but there will be detractors from this opinion.

I was just wondering why you matched the ND310's with the S-center. They aren't in the same series, shouldn't you have gone with the N-center?

I went with the S-Center mainly because it is a 3-way speaker, while the N-Center is a 2-way speaker. It also got great reviews at audioreview.com.
