This is a great Samsung '709' site with toons of info and help how to get the best from these machines.
The remote hack should be the same as for the 511 & 611 machines. It should remove the region code, but I'm not sure that macrovision can be disabled for the newer Samsungs

P.S. I have the Samsung DVD-909...great machine...no macro nor region code after the hack. Also does NTSC ---> Pal60 AND Pal50 NICE!!!
