what are the 5 lowest priced DVD players that come with a lighted remote?

It breaks the mood to turn on the lights just to pause a movie.

You can buy the 15-1994 universal remote from radio shack for 30-40 bucks and it is back lit and will work your dvd player and everything else in your system. Then you can buy whatever dvd player you want. If you get the remote, go to www.remotecentral.com to find instructions on how to set it up for dvd as it isn't in the instruction manual for some reason.

bubba-jack I would also suggest the Radio Shack 15-1994, that way you don't have to get a specific brand of DVD player, buy what ever you want then use the universal remote to control it.

Although off the top of my head I don't recall any specific dvd players that have back-lighted remotes. My Pioneer Laserdisc player does, and its a nice feature. I wonder why more manufactures don't consider it especially for Home Theater equipment?

spell check yes, edited for grammar.
