Hey all. I have around $300-350 to spend on a subwoofer and I'm debating between a Klipsch KSW-12 ($350 shipped, new) and a Definitive PF15 ($350 used, possibly can get the guy down to $300, 1/8 mile away). I'm not sure which one to get, any suggestions? The Definitive PF15 is the old model of the PF15TL and the TL+. The stats are:
15" woofer
185 watt amp
18hz - 150hz frequency range

Also, this is going to be for a college dorm room, so I don't really want it TOO loud =)
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I have the KSW-12. It's a really nice sub for the price. Much better than the 8" sub that came with the Kenwood HTB-502 system I started with. You can really feel the bass from this, at least the small room my HT is in. I dont know how it would perform in a big room. This thing is a wall shanker, so keep it turned down I guess. Also, it's down firing, so if you have anyone below you, I hope they are understanding
