Advice needed on a 43" Samsung "Smart" TV
My TV has just started to have this problem of when you turn it on, it just chirps at you, and the picture does not come on. I fiddle with the red light box under screen and then it comes on. Is this a death throe warning sign? I know it is probably the power suppy or a connection thing. Anyone have this problem? Should I be shopping for a new TV? It is 4 yrs old. Once it comes on, it works perfect. I mostly just use it as a monitor to play my movies. Thanks in advance!

If you're looking for the same size, they are pretty cheap. Under $150 at Walmart. If unplugging for a few minutes doesn't fix it, I'd just go the easy route and get a new tv.

That is good news
Kind of early to give up after just 4 years owning it.

Just for my own edification, what is the button under the red light? The power button? If so, just try the button instead of the remote to see if it consistently starts/powers up. Inquiring minds want to know!
