From: Next to that thing with the stuff on it
anyone know of a good dvd player that will convert PAL signals to NTSC signals so i can watch PAL dvd's on a regular tv?

just a thought: would a progressive scan dvd player work with both pal and ntsc?

how about using a tv-out card?

thanks

Not sure. When I lived overseas and collected some PAL tapes. I had to buy a combo PAL/NTSC VHS player and a combo TV to play each discrete signal type.

The Raite DVD player does this. I just watched The Prisoner UK PAL Box Set on it. Very nice. I keep it as second DVD player in my Home Theater system for this purpose.
