NOOO!!! My LD Player - DEAD!!

Like it says... last night I turned on my aging Sony 333, which had been acting up for a while, and it simply would not play. Anything.
As I have a fair number of the old 12" platters, I would like to replace my old player, but obviously don't want to sink a great deal of cash into this.
Could anyone suggest a good new/refurbished player with DD? I'm not looking to spend a fortune here, so a mix of quality/value for money is important.
Thanks for any help you can offer!

well you can always try ebay. in the past i remember people mentioning pawn shops as possible places to get them. I might even try a good(read no best buy type) home theater specialty shop. they may have people looking to get rid of them or who moved to a dvd/ld combo player and have one to sell.
good luck.
