Are there no OLEDs below 55"?

I was thinking about treating myself to a new TV for my office/game consoles. I don't need anything large but I was hoping for OLED. I'm not seeing any models below 55"; is that correct? Hell, I barely see any sets at all below 50 which aren't older models or full PC monitors.

Nope, 55 inch is the smallest, for now. A few days ago LG said it's working on 48 inch though:

I'll leave it to others to debate whether there's a real benefit for smaller tvs, though.

Thanks; I guess your last point is a good question as well. I'm looking at an older model Sony 43" XBR which is "QLED". I know that's not at all OLED tech but I guess I assumed OLED would be better, regardless due to how they work and the potential contrast. Opinions from someone with more experience in both types would be welcome.

I just replaced my old Sharp Aquos (from ~14 years ago) with an LG C9 OLED. The Aquos was 42", the LG is 55". Much like the iPhone X's form factor, the C9 doesn't take up much more room, there's just more screen.

Are these panels by LG? Or is Asus actually producing their own panels?

And yeah, that price...

$5150?

Yeah, you’d have to be 5150 to pay that much for a monitor.

Well one is actually LED the other is not

A QLED TV is an LCD TV with quantum dots. Let's start with a quick summary of the two technologies. OLED stands for "organic light emitting diode." QLED (according to Samsung) stands for "quantum dot LED TV."
