I thought that would get some attention. Please help first-time DVD buyer - see my 12/29 6:27 p.m. message and respond. If I get no help I will just buy a $99 no-name and hook it up w/ bell wire. Thanks.

I would reccomend the Pioneer DV-333 since you're gonna wanna be able to play CD-R discs on it. It's a great player from what I hear. In the future, if you haven't gotten any replies to your message after a few days, just reply to it yourself and that will bump it up to the top. Good luck with the new player!
