Yes... it happened... the mistake was made somewhere down the line where the firmware on my DVS DSR 520 was upgraded with the wrong model. It was upgraded with 600H instead of 520H... so, basically... it won't let me fix it by trying to flash it with the right firmware. I got this dvd player second hand, or third hand, or something... my question is, is it scrap now? Or can it be fixed? Thanks for any help anyone can provide.

Having read your earlier thread about the company being in Korea and not having an English contact number to call, I'd say try and flash it again to the correct firmware if possible and if that doesn't work, I would say scrap it and get a new player. It sucks but it seems like that's the only option.
