Rumor of new Marantz AV receiver models

For those who are interested in the SR-7000 and SR-8000, I thought you might want to know about this. I called a dealer I've dealt with before to buy the 8000. He told me to hold off until after CES because there's a rumor of Marantz introducing some replacement models of their AV receiver line. He wasn't positive which models were being replaced, but was pretty sure the 8000 was one of them.
Just though I'd pass it along in case anyone is getting ready to buy. And depending on what the replacement model costs or does, the price of 8000's already in stock may drop.

Great news....I have been thinking about the 7000 or 8000!!! Prices should definitely drop should newer models be released.

Several months ago I got a price of $950 delivered from an authorized dealer. I was going to buy it today if I could get the price a little lower and heard the rumor.
