i'm looking to buy a dvd changer...
looked at pioneer DV-F727; and liked it over the sony CX850D.
any sugestions on which item's better, and where i could find a more reasonable price?

best buy has it for $399 now after the rebate.
i tried to buy it when it was $299 but i think that was a misprice and only a few stores honored that deal.
i even tried the wiz to match their price but they wouldn't do it (too low they said).

I have 4 of the DV-F727, you can put two of them together to make a 600 Disk Unit. Typing everything in is a pain. But once you are done its great I have all my movies on hand at all times. Bad part of the unit is the loading arm. I had one go out on my Thursday. Took 1 hour to unload it another to load it and most of the weekend to type everything back in.

Yeah what happened was that the system screwed up and took off the 100 dollar instant rebate twice. I work there and one guy decided to "wait and see" on the price. Too bad for him because he lost that price the next day.
