I just received a Sony DVP -C660 as a gift and notice that it does not have a DTS or Dolby Digital Decoder built in.... I have a Dolby Surround receiver (not Digital) ... Should return and upgrade the DVD or upgrade my receiver (at some future date)??

Also, does Sony make a DVD player with a zoom function??

Upgrade your receiver! Even if you did buy another DVD Player with the decoder's built your Dolby-Surround receiver still couldn't handle the signal unless you have 6 chanel input and the dvd player breaks the signal out (some pioneers do this).

I've read good things about Yamaha receivers lately.
