I also was lucky enough to grab the Wega from 800.com for $950 shipped! I LOVE this forum! Anyway, I just got the thing set up this weekend and do not have either of these calibration DVDs. I have seen other posts here where other members have described their settings, but they have been for the XBR. If a few of the FS Wega owners that have used Avia or Video Essentials to setup the FS model only could post their EXACT settings, I would really appreciate it. I have tried the THX calibration on T2 and Toy Story, but would like to start this thread to get some opinions on the best setting.
The reason I only want either the FS12 or FS16 is because the FV model has the better filter and may throw off the calibration. I know every TV is different, but if we get enough posts with similar settings, I would feel a lot better. So far I have set the TV to 'Warm' and turned 'VM' off. I also heard that the 'Movie' setting is also ideal. If you could post the exact number of slashes you used for each setting instead of %, that would be even better. Thanks for all of your help! I love this TV so far.

bumpin up in hopes that more people respond. I am curious about this as well.
I got my Wega and plugged it in .. I am satisfied with its default settings (havent changed a thing .. zip nada none)
But if there is a way to suck more satisfaction
out of this beautiful piece of machinery then I'd be extremely grateful to know how!
