i just got my parrents a SD1600 dvd player..
It works great, except for when i play "sixth sense" on it. It gets really pixelated and starts jumping around different scenes. Has anyone had this happen on their SD1600. I have a SD6109 and a jvc player and the dvd works fine on both players.
any thing i can do to fix this? firmware upgrade?

Haven't tried it, but will if you give me the approx. time where the problem started. Was it at the beginning where the intruder is in the house? Apex had a problem there.

I tried this out on my Toshiba SD-2200 and had no problems. What firmware do you have? (I have 1.500-R1)

I have the Toshiba SD1600 and have watched the Sixth Sense twice, plus watched selected scenese more, no problems.

Look at your disk, are there any fingerprints, smudges, minor scratches, or anything?
