Here's what I'm looking for:
27 inch
between 300-500 dollars
I will be hooking up a DVD player and a Playstation as well as cable, so I need at least two AV inputs. I'd like S-Video.
I'm on a fairly strict budget, with a small apartment. So, while I'd like to have a massive, high-definition, 16:9, every feature in the book television, that's not realistic for me. This is what I can get now. I just want something better than the 19", single coax input job that I have now.

I just picked up a Sony Wega FS12. It has all the features you would want for your setup.
I found it online for $499. I printed that out, and brought it to Sears for a price match. I also got a 10% discount for opening up a Sears account and then another $10 off. Hopefully I will also get a mail in rebate from Sony for opening up a Sony account. Without the Sony rebate my total was $464. If I get the Sony rebate (10%), it would drop the price all the way down to $420.

I am going to get the 27" panasonic tau set when it comes out next week or the week after. It will be $599 retail, but I'm sure we will be able to get it for less...or reduce the price with discounts, coupons, etc. Here's the link: http://www.prodcat.panasonic.com/sho...CategoryID=315
it's a sweet set, with component and s-video.
