The best price I was able to find it for was around $689 (without coupons). Just did a quick search to see the prices.

Be careful - just did a search for TV's - specifically the Sony KV-27FS12 and found some very strange prices. FIRST - be aware that Sony has just recently reduced the price on MOST all of this year's model numbers - so the MSRP for the KV-27FS12 is NOW $599.99. So, places like Best buy & 800.com & others are listing the TV at $599.99 - don't buy until they get their current stock off the floor and start reflecting something below $599.99. If they're going to sell for that price, then may as well get it at your local store and have it delivered today or tonight!!!
