Matching Speaker OHMS???

The important thing is to match the speaker OHMS with the receivers.
If you're running speakers that are 4 OHMS and your receiver are rated only for 8 OHMS and can't handle anything lower then you better take note.
Why are your speakers all different ohms? Are they all different speakers? You should have them the same for the best sonic experiences.
If the efficiencies of the speakers are different then you will notice that some will be louder than others at the same volume.

yeah, they are different brands. I have the same brand for the center and left/right front speakers. but the surrounds are a different brand. i may replace them. my fronts and center are rated 4-8 ohms. the rears are 4 only. the receiver i am looking to buy rates at 6 and 8. guess i need to replce the surrounds.
