Is there a receiver that will let me label my components? For instance, I have a Playstation 2 and I'd like to have the receiver show "Playstion" in it's readout. I've looked around, but haven't really found anything that can let me label my auxillary inputs like my PS2, Tivo, or VCR. Any ideas on this would be appreciated.

My Wega allows four different "channels" for input, and the on-screen display can be customized somewhat. I'd like to see the same feature with my receiver, too. (In fact, I'd like to be able to run broadcast TV sound through my receiver with the correct labeling, as well as DVD and VHS.)

My Toshiba 32" TV only has one S-Video input, but I have DVD, PS2, and a Tivo all competing for that connection. I have a switch for my PS2 and Tivo, but want to run everything via my receiver. Labelling the components would be a nice feature to have. It'd also make it easier for the wife to figure out. Press DVD to watch a DVD. Press Aux 1 and it shows Tivo. Press Aux 2 and it shows Playstation. This feature may not be available, but it sure seems like they could do it.

My old sony reciever could do this. Oddly I haven't seen the function ion my DB940, but I haven't played with it enough to say it can't.

My Sony STR DB-930 can do this. I would be the '940 could, too.
