I'm not sure if this topic has been posted before, but has anyone else had any problems with lip synch problems when playing DVDs on their PS2. I hardly ever use my PS2 as a DVD player, but I recently decided to watch The Professional on it to test out it's DVD capabilities and there were some major sync problems. I had to keep pressing stop and then play to correct it. Even though it's not my main DVD player it still really bugs me. I'm afraid this might cause problems if Sony ever decides to make games on DVD.

I had that problem with my Sony DVPS-530D stand alone DVD player. I also understand that the DVPS-330s had the problem too. It was a firmware issue and had to be sent to a Sony Service Center for an upgrade. That was over a year ago. I would've thought Sony would've solved that problem by now! Good luck.

I purchased my 330 in Nov 99...must have been fixed by this time!!! This player is at least a 2nd if not 3rd generation player...someone had posted in another thread that this was a 1st generation player.
