I keep seeing these Refered to, so they must be a really good setup, and was wondering if i could glean a little more info.

Are they 16:9?
Are They HD?

It looks like they are Flat I assume this is a good thing, looks like they range in size from about 13-36, but the price doesn't look to bad at 800.com, they seem to have a Tube, not projection (and is that a good thing)

Although the Sony Wega is not a 16:9 format TV, if you get one that is 27" or larger, it has a built-in "16:9 squeeze" function. Then, you can set your DVD player to 16:9 and set the Wega to 16:9. If you do that, you don't lose any of the lines that are usually dropped.

Aren't Some VVegas HDTV ready??? Like support 480P and 1080i too?

the Wega's that are HDTV-ready are the XBR series.

There are hd and widescreen wegas out but expect to pay about $800.00 more.
