I've heard a lot of good things about Canare component video cables, and I'm currently using Mon ster Component Video 3 to link my Toshiba SD-1600 player and Sony Wega KV27FS12 TV.

Will the Canare cable outperform Monster? Or is there another that you favor? I'm looking for a length of about one meter, and I'd like to spend no more than $100. What do you recommend?

I would put the money into DVDs instead. Better yet, save that money for a progressive player and an HDTV set!

Radio shack - gold plated series. I used the A/V cable (Red/White/Yellow) and it's fine - awesome picture.

Come on - people seriously think spending lots of money on cables is worth it? As long as you have a good, clean connection with the proper shielding - well, that's all you need!
