Do any players (possibly the NUON) handle the layer transition smoothly. I mean every title? I know the DVD Rom machines do, but I'm talking about a stand alone player.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Unfortunately it's not just the DVD players that are a factor but also the DVD's themselves. How they are mastered and where the layer change is put will also have an effect. For this reason I would doubt there is a player out there that performs great with layer changes on every DVD. I would imagine it is hadled better by DVD-ROM drives because they have a better buffer to compensate for this.
