I was wondering if someone could clear this up for me. I have a Sony STR-SE491 A/V Receiver and a Sony DVP-S530D DVD Player. The receive has 5.1 and Digital Cinema Sound Processing and the DVD player has a DTS logo on it. The receiver does not. Am I able to get DTS sound out of my components because I have DTS with my DVD player or do I need to have DTS on my receiver too? Or do I already have DTS capability? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

It does not appear that you have a DTS decoder.....check out the Technics SH-500D...you can probably find one on ebay for about $150-$200.....this second generation model does a great job!!!! The first generation DD decoder was horrible but this is a DD/DTS decoder which does an outstanding job!!!
