RCA Blu-Ray screen saver question
For anyone having an RCA Blu-Ray player with a screen saver feature: do they still use the Nipper and Chipper images?
I first saw that on my vintage dvd player, and as a dog fan it was such a cool surprise. I was wondering if they still use them?

Dad bought one of these long ago (I think they were actually manufactured here in town) and I still have my Peanuts CED disks, just for the "what in the heck are those" factor in my Snoopy collection.

Yes, those were made in Indianapolis- RCA used to make most of their stuff there. I'm a big collector of the format, I have every movie put out on it!

RCA doesn't really exist anymore, and that is from long before bluray, or even DVD. The name is licensed out to various companies from time to time. In terms of specific features like the screensaver, you'd have to find out who really made whatever model. There may be no convergence whatsoever.

My first dvd player was an RCA. It's screensaver was pretty simple. It showed a red RCA logo for a few seconds. Then, it would disappear then reappear somewhere else.
