Hi all
Here is my problem.
I have a digital audio connection running inbetween my dvd (Zenith dvd2200) and my reciever (JVC RX6000-VBK). When i set my audio prefferences to digitl, i get no audio coming out of my speakers at all. My recievers is accepting the signal because is says "DVD DIGITAL" I am using an Acoustic Research coax audio cable. Can anyone help me understand my i am not getting any audio. When i connect the devices with analong connectors, I have sound. Also i have a HLK Speaker set (HT-9900, Front speakers passing through the sub). Any help?

Thanks

I don't know if this will be much help..... but my first thought is there is probably a setting on the receiver or DVD player that you don't have setup right.

Yes, check the settings in your DVD player. I have a Sony DVD player and I had to go in to the settings and turn the option for digital output on before I was able to get the sound. It might be the same on your DVD player.
