I am asking this because and you probably all know why. Toy Story Toy Box. There are a few things that won't work with my player and it seems to be that I have a real old version running in my player. Thanks for any help that comes my way.

What version is yours?? Check by pressing 'Zoom-6-0-6-Zoom'...
I have v2.400 manufactured October 1999.

I hope it works with ToyStory UTB...

Mine is on the back, it says "Manufactured October 1999"

Try e-mailing the toshiba website... I think oyu have to take the player to an authorized toshiba tech center to get an upgrade.. its free if you're still under warranty

man...your player is as old as mine!!! last summer, i was having problems with eyes wide shut...so i bit the bullet and took mine to have it upgraded.

there was supposed to be a $40 dollar charge since it was out of warranty...but they waived it for me...'cuz i'm such a nice guy.

what i did was check the yellow pages for toshiba authorized repair centers and drove about 30 miles to get there.

they upgraded me from 1.0 and i haven't had any problems since....

cranky.
