So I've been experiencing an issue with multiple discs while using my Playstation 3 (80GB fat model). When I play a disc I often will experience a brief white flash/glitch on the bottom of the screen. This only happens while watching Blu-rays and has happened on numerous titles. Normally it only happens one time during playback for a second or so and goes away and the glitches don't usually happen in the same spot twice. I watch other HD content and regular programming off of my cable box just fine so I don't think it's related to my tv. Just wondering if anyone else has had this issue and if there's a fix or if my Playstation is just going bad or something.

Not sure what it is, but it sounds like something with your PS3. Do you have a standalone player to try the same discs on ?

Are you using HDMI out from your PS3? I'd do a cable swap or at least a reconnect on the ends to rule that out.

My Blu-ray on the PS3 playback issue is that every once in a while the image's color gets saturated, very bright, and then it goes normal. What's the deal?

Ugh, this is still happening, even with different HDMI cables and different ports on the TV and the receiver. I don't get it.
