PS3 - Checking the time / progress
When watching a DVD of blu ray on a PS3 is there a way to display the duration of how much you have watched (i.e. 38 min 22 sec)? Some blu rays have the functionality built in that shows this in the form of a progress bar when you pause, but is this feasible for other titles that don't have the feature?

Press the Select button on the controller. If you have the remote, it's on there somewhere as well.
It's been a while since I watched a BD on the PS3, so I don't remember what information it shows, but I do remember that's how to bring it up.

You can use it to view the time/progress for any video file, not just a Blu-ray or a DVD.
I don't play Blu-rays on it anymore aside from 3D titles, but I use PS3 as my sole video file playback device.

by pressing select, it will show you time remaining, what audio/video tracks you are listening/watching , and the Megabytes that are currently streaming.
