I have a 50" Pioneer Projection TV it is about 5-6 years old maybe older. Well the problem is that when I turn it on after some time maybe 5min or 20min or longer it will turn off and I cant turn it on with the remote or on the front panel but if I unplug it then plug it back in it will turn on but then turn off agian the amount of time it stays on is always different somtimes it stays on for long and somtime for seconds. Does anyone know what the problem could be. It is a Pioneer SD-P5043

Hi,

I had the same problem with my Philips 32" Widescreen Television. I had to bring it to my dealer to have it repaired (under extended warranty) and as far as I remember it was a relay or something. Guess you need to have service...
